The QWWF is the State Level Organisation (SLO) for the Queensland division members of Waterski and Wakeboard Australia (WAWA) – formerly Australian Waterski and Wakeboard Federation (AWWF)

WAWA is the national governing body for Waterski and Wakeboard activities in Australia and provides affiliation to the world waterski and wakeboard bodies, selection and support to national teams, governance and policy documents for use by state divisions and insurance coverage for competitions, clubs and committees affiliated with WAWA.

WAWA also represents the whole Waterski and Wakeboard community when dealing with governments. If you don’t want to train or compete you can still become a member of WAWA for free and receive updates on water sports activities. Go to the WAWA link and click on the ‘Join Us’ button. Joining will help WAWA and the QWWF when dealing with Government bodies on such things as access to waterways.

The Queensland Government assists organisations with the development of sporting activities in Queensland. The QWWF and its divisions wish to acknowledge this support in assisting in improving our corporate governance capabilities, developing the capabilities of both our officials and competitors, and assisting our capability to hold state and national competition in regional Queensland.
